This first photo is out of the window of our 5 ton truck near the DFAC. I thought the way the dirt on the window made the backdrop look was really cool, plus the American flag on the window gives it an interesting contrast.
This one is just me driving. SGT., Trujillo was nice enough to snap a picture of me. She ended up using the wrong setting on the camera but I couldn't be happier with the way it came out.

I especially like the picture of you driving, Jes -- the truck looks HUGE. So it's a hassle to upload pictures over there? It's so nice to see them when you are able to post them ... please keep trying -- it makes a lot of us folk back home feel closer to you! Love you, Jes.
The truck IS huge, I have to climb up into it. It's only a hastle 'cuz the internet over here is so slow, it's like dial-up speeds. They talk about it getting better soon so hopefully it won't be as hard soon.
Hi Jesse: Enjoyed the pictures
very much. They are some huge
trucks alright. Also read your blog concerning your recent activities. (Although, the thought
of it gives me knots in my tummy;
glad your got a chance to do something else. Talk about slow computers, ours decided to do its
own thing all weekend long. Just
went wherever it wanted when it wanted, so couldn't even look at
blogs. etc. We love you and pray for you all the time. Lew prays
every Sunday in church for you, Diana, and the kids.
I love the picture of you driving. I can't wait to show Jackson when he wakes up from nap time. Thank you for taking to the time to upload them so we can see more of where you are. The truck must be huge because you look dwarfed driving it and you are pretty huge yourself in a normal car. What fun it looks like though...
Nice pics!
